• A probe thrown from the cockpit by the pilot or copilot which transmits the wind data to the pilot (wind direction & speed)
• A receiver that receives the wind direction & speed and the relative orientation of the aircraft according to the wind (The receiver may provide visual, auditory, and/or tactile feedback to the pilot/co-pilot).
